Wherever you find yourself, I'm glad you've arrived here.
Perhaps we'll meet through mentoring, movement or ceremony, around a cup of cacao, through the lens of my camera, recording your story, or simply within the pages of a book.
However our paths cross, I hope this space reminds you of something you've always known:
You are here to experience life fully, to honour the uniqueness of who you are and to express yourself in all the ways that feel true to you.
You are beautiful in your truth.
.

My why
One of the many things I've noticed over almost six decades on this planet is that life keeps asking us to change.
What once felt comfortable no longer fits.
Sometimes life changes around us. Sometimes something deep within begins to whisper that we can no longer stay where we are.
The way we are doing things is just not working anymore.
Someone wise once said that the only permanence in life is impermanence.
Everything living changes.
Everything living dies.
I have come to believe that we are here to experience life in all its complexity.
Our experiences shape us. They invite us to grow, to soften, to question, to begin again. While we don't always choose what happens, we do have choice in how we meet what life places before us.
Over the years, I have come to believe that one of the greatest gifts we can offer another human being is to witness them fully: to listen without judgement, to honour the truth of their experience, and to create a space where they feel safe enough to simply be.
Life asks enormous courage of us.
The courage to speak about what hurts.
The courage to acknowledge where we have caused hurt.
The courage to move through guilt and shame.
The courage to leave something that appears beautiful from the outside, but no longer honours who we are becoming.
The courage to endure, when we don't know how we can.
Sometimes we are asked to walk through separation from a partner, family or children. Sometimes through grief, illness or the unexpected knowledge that life will not unfold as we imagined.
In those moments, what matters most is that we feel heard and seen within out experience.
It is someone willing to walk beside us.
With presence.
With compassion.
Without judgement.
With the quiet understanding that every threshold we cross is part of becoming more deeply the truth of who we are.
This is why I do what I do....Creating a myriad of different spaces where people can meet themselves with greater honesty, kindness and courage, and in doing so, rediscover what it means to be in right relationship with themselves, each other and the living world.
My story
I work with people through thresholds, because sometimes we need help to find the key, to open a new door. To have the courage to see and express ourselves differently.
My studies have included psychology, women’s studies, youth work, criminology, counselling, addiction and philosophy, alongside many healing and spiritual traditions. I've had the privilege of learning with Aboriginal High Lore women, a Maestro from Peru and teachers of death doula work, sound and crystal healing, Access Bars and Energetic Coherence.
I'm a Certificate IV qualified Yoga and Meditation teacher and have taught for over 14 years. I discovered yoga in my first decade of life and committed to daily practice in my fourth. For me, it's about honouring these remarkable bodies we inhabit and remembering the joy of being alive.
Creativity has always been part of who I am. Through photography and film, I love playing with light, witnessing the beauty in others and reflecting it back through my lens. I've also accompanied people through death and dying, offering end-of-life support and preserving their stories through legacy filmmaking.
Writing is another expression of my curiosity about being human. My first book, Awakening My Spiritual Heart (2019), explored my own journey. My two recent creations, In Case You Need to Know and What I Want You to Know, offer practical and heartfelt ways to prepare for life's later thresholds and preserve the stories, memories and love we wish to share.
I'm a mother of two adult children and a much-loved furry companion.
I'm a self-confessed seeker, continually exploring the many expressions of being human and sharing the embodied wisdom of my own experiences.
I believe we're here to experience and express the fullness of who we are, without confining ourselves to one identity or way of being.
